Weinberg Center / IRRCi Research Paper Competition
This research competition is the successor to the IRRCi Investor Research Award that had become a prominent award garnering significant attention amongst the investment community, academia and policymakers. The John L. Weinberg / IRRCi Investor Research Award, as its predecessor did, highlights innovative research focused on the nexus between real world economy activity and investment theory.

The study documents corporate governance trends and developments at 2,854 companies registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that filed their proxy statement in the January 1 to November 1, 2018 period and, as of January 2018, were included in the Russell 3000 Index.

The John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance and the Department of Finance at the Lerner College of Business & Economics, at the University of Delaware, in collaboration with the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI), hosted its 2023 Annual Corporate Governance Symposium.
The Call for Papers for the Academic Symposium and the John L. Weinberg/IRRCi Research Paper $10,000 Award Competition was issued with a submission fee of $75.00.
