History & Future
John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance was established in 2000 at the University of Delaware and is part of the Lerner College of Business and Economics. It is one of the longest-standing corporate governance centers in academia, and the first and only corporate governance center in the State of Delaware, the legal home for a majority of the nation’s public corporations.

To continue to be recognized as a preeminent thought leader in the field of corporate governance.
Mission
The Weinberg Center is a neutral forum for informed dialogue, teaching and learning about corporate governance. The Center fosters interactions that are intended to shape and influence corporate governance debates and developments nationally and internationally.
