October 9, 2025 — The Weinberg Center’s 25th anniversary symposium—Boardroom Legacy: The Weinbergs of Goldman Sachs and the Making of Modern Corporate Governance—will convene at Clayton Hall on the University of Delaware campus from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The public is invited to join 25 leading authorities on corporate governance for a deep and sweeping analysis of the field, featuring the never-before-published 1948 paper by John L. Weinberg, Status and Functions of Corporate Directors, submitted as his senior thesis at Princeton University.
